Stumbled across 280slides.com which is a webbased powerpoint solution. With advances in AJAX type technology things like this are becoming possible. A decent slide show app is one of the things thats been missing from suites like Google Docs.

well.. i don’t like webbased powerpoint solutions… i like to have them installed on my pc, and not depending on my internet connection…

I must admit that the one problem I see with this solution is that half way thru your uber presentation, your Internet connection dies, and you have to resort to a flip chart.
