So Nintendo are talking about a new DS that will feature a camera and a music player.
The DS is already a very decent mobile gaming platform, and competes well with the PSP.
Last year there was a rumor that the PSP would have phone functionality but those rumors died when an updated PSP was released without it.
I’m thinking it’s probably not such a bad idea to add some things to the DS. Not sure how usefull the camera would be, but if it’s a music player as well as a mobile gaming platform then that would be nice.
Judging on what Apple have done with the iPhone, what google are doing with the G1. It won’t be long before you have devices that encompass all areas of mobility. Imagine an iPhone crossed with a DS? Hmmm…
