I had dinner with a good friend last night, and we got chatting about Internet business models. What amazes me is how many different types there are, and how many variations each one has.

There are more ways to make money online than there are spam messages in my spam folder (and I get thousands). The problem I see people having is that they all want to do what the guy next door is doing. That means they are going to follow him straight into the ditch, cause his sales letter has told them that they’ll make a killing online if they only buy his product that includes a packet of seeds to plant a money tree in their back garden.

Then faced with a truck load of information getting dumped on them, they have no idea where to start digging. So they sit on this pile of information wishing it would somehow do something for them.

But people like this quickly become a dump for ebooks, and money making scams. Yes there are more scams than there are products.

These people all fail to do something really simple. They fail to “DO”. For heavens sake, do something. Start a blog, send an email, register a domain, start a PPC campaign, something other than sitting on your pile of useless info!

You’ll learn more by starting a blog about your cat and it’s 3 ears, than reading everything everyone sells you.

Just try it, trust me, you need to actually “DO” something to make money online.
