I started using Twitter a while ago, and I’ve got about 1000 followers now, and I by no means am planning to stop using it. But I must admit that Friend Feed is becoming more and more attractive. It seems a lot more people are beginning to use friend feed.
So I’m gonna begin making a bit more of a concerted effort with Friend Feed. So there are a few things I need to get sorted to use it properly.
I have signed up to the daily friend feed email. My first thoughts were that it would be ‘just another email’ in my inbox. But I find that having Gmail forward it to my iPhone is really cool. Means I can read stuff while I’m out and about, having coffee, waiting for someone, or even when I’m just bored (which is very very seldom).
Then I want to try some Friend Feed plugins.
I’m using Alert Thingy, but want to look for alternatives.
I also want to find a nice iPhone app. If one exists?
So lets see how it goes.

I signed up with FriendFeed yesterday and I’m enjoying it so far. It’s useful to have everything some through to just one place. And I have FF talking to Twhirl, so it’s all delivered to my desktop. A mobile version would be awesome.

I like the concept behind Friend feed. So we’ll see where it goes.

I have no idea how to get FF working properly, I seem to be missing something. I can see the advantages of having a aggregating system when it comes to the collection of content. Its setting it up that sucks tech tit.

FriendFeed is a little more complex than Twitter, but I use Alert Thingy (link above) which works really well.
