I jus saw this post and while I cannot vouch for the accuracy, I can say that it’s very believable.

100 Million users
10,000 servers
500 million photos per month
6.6 billion photos total
25,000 applications
140 new applications are added per day
25 terabytes of cached data available

That’s impressive. And people complain when Facebook is just a little slow. Really? [...]

It sounds ambitios I know. And I do not intent to do it all by myself. I’m slowly recruiting an army of bloggers to help me build the largest collection of Wordpress Themes on the Internet.

Some poor idiot is wishing he stayed in bed this morning. Steve Jobs’ obituary was published today, in error of course, because the man is still breathing and needs to bring us some more cool Apple gadgets.

Stumbled across 280slides.com which is a webbased powerpoint solution. With advances in AJAX type technology things like this are becoming possible. A decent slide show app is one of the things thats been missing from suites like Google Docs.

With the Beijing Olympics just about behind us, I found one last event I thought I’d mention here.

If you have a look at the right sidebar on EliteBlogger you’ll see a FriendFeed widget.
I stumbled across it today and I think it’s pretty nifty. Shows all my FriendFeed updates, in a nice little iFrame.
Creating the widget is a snap, and putting it on your blog is even easier.
