Next month Wordcamp is coming to Cape Town. I’m looking forward to getting together and meeting a lot of people that I have come to know online over the last year.
It seems that they have finally sorted out their venue, and you can register for the event.
This, seriously, is not to be missed. If you’re [...]

I like the concept of being able to create a quick meeting, invite a bunch of people [...]

In an age where the internet offers all sorts of interesting ways to express yourself, I’m constantly astounded by how many new and unique ways there are to share stuff on the Internet.

The next day [...]

I got an invite to the drop box beta a couple of days ago, and I began playing around with it.

The installation was seamless and you get up and running in no time at all. I’ve uploaded one entire file and it uploaded very quickly, I was expecting some lag but it seems they have [...]

If you have a Mac and have been using a .Mac account, you would have been upgraded to MobileMe at the end of last week. Apple have have realeased a dashboard widget (if you’re into dashboard widgets) for MobileMe that allows quick acess to Mail, Calender etc.

You can download the widget here.

One of the key aspects of a website design is what the user experiences when they first land on a page. This is important for any website, but it’s even more important for a blog.
If a visitor to your blog gets confused and has questions about what your blog is about, they are more likely [...]
